UPDATE: Washington Generators also didn't let us know before our extended warranty expired and as a result, we aren't able to extend that warranty further. Even more disappointed than I... read more was last week. ORIGINAL: At this year's annual service on our General, we were pressured to buy a new battery. The explanation was reasonable enough - the battery that comes with the Generac has a ~3 year life span we were told...except that our generator is ~6 years old. Why were we just hearing about this now? The price of the battery we were sold is about 30% higher than the LIST price of the battery direct from the manufacturer, and even more expensive when compared to other places the batter could be purchased. I called and wanted to share my displeasure about the obvious price gouging, but never received a call back. We'll be looking at our support options moving forward to see if we should stick with Washington Generators or go elsewhere. Disappointed.

Kurt and his crew were awesome, did an excellent job and left the site completely cleaned. Couldn't be happier with the work this company does.
